Tech Data Europe Completes Internal Office 365 Implementation
Distributor transitioning to Microsoft’s cloud service across Europe
Barcelona, 22 October 2014 – Tech Data Europe has completed the implementation of Office 365 across its entire European operation. This rollout enables Tech Data to fully leverage all of the advantages of Microsoft’s cloud-based services as promoted and sold to resellers by Tech Data’s own Cloud Services division.
This project, which was led by the company’s internal IT Solutions team, involved transferring more than 9,000 individual and shared mailboxes to Microsoft’s cloud service from the company’s former on-premises, server-based infrastructure.
