Tech Data puts Harwood in charge of public sector pricing
Basingstoke, 03 July 2015 – Tech Data UK has appointed Helen Harwood as Pricing and Programme Manager, with responsibility for keeping the company’s public sector pricing details up-to-date and available to resellers targeting the education, healthcare, local government, blue-light, NGO and other segments of the market.
The appointment is a sign of Tech Data’s ongoing commitment to supporting partners in driving public sector business and putting the customer first. Tech Data maintains a list of pre-approved public sector deals and Framework pricing that is available from its extensive list of vendor partners and makes it available to registered partners on request.
Tech Data also provides up-to-date details of what’s available to partners in terms of special bid support, as well as details of current special promotions. In addition, users of the distributor’s InTouch online system are alerted when special pricing is available for public sector customers, by a PS Discount Available logo, which appears on screen when they are viewing the product details.
Harwood has worked at Tech Data since 2011 as Project Manager. She is a PRINCE2-qualified professional project manager and has more than 12 years experience working on both public and commercial sector business.
