Tech Data Mobile brings BQ range of smartphones and tablets to UK market
Complete portfolio of smartphones tablets from one of Europe’s leading suppliers of consumer electronics devices are being made widely available to resellers and retailers in the UK and Ireland
Basingstoke, 13 October 2015 – Tech Data Mobile is bringing the exciting range of smartphones, and tablets from BQ, one of Europe’s leading producers and suppliers of consumer-oriented electronics equipment, to the UK market.
Tech Data Mobile has been appointed as a new distributor in the UK and Ireland for the Spanish company, giving British and Irish resellers and retailers the opportunity to offer a brand new range of 100% European-designed devices to their customers.
BQ arrived in the UK market in early 2015 when it released the Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition smartphone, developed by BQ and Canonical. This was the first smartphone in the world to ship with the Ubuntu operating system and its release was an important landmark in the development and evolution of BQ’s open-source philosophy and approach.
The company’s Aquaris family of thin and light Android smartphones feature high-quality IPS displays with toughened glass and extended battery life. High resolution cameras and a specially-designed range of covers provide a complete set of options. A selection of models are available and in a variety of screen sizes, from four to six inches.
